A successful Minion Margo birthday party- my cake pop experiment is completed. And I only "wasted" six hours of experimentation, 2 failed batches, 6 giant bars of chocolate, and 16 bucks for a very un-magical cake-pop maker. Turns out they are best made by hand; a delicate and steady hand which I've never been known to possess. But I made do and the guests devoured them along with the cake and other treats. Eating, drinking, playing, chatting and nary a tear shed. The kids behaved too.
